1. Information We Collect

PostPilot ("we", "our", "us") collects the following information when you use our service:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, video creation activity, and session duration to improve the product.
• Content Data: Video series configurations, scripts, and generated content you create within the platform.
• Payment Data: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
• Platform Tokens: OAuth access tokens for connected platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Threads) stored encrypted for publishing functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the PostPilot video creation service.
• To publish content to your connected social media platforms on your behalf.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To improve our product and user experience.
• To communicate service updates and support responses.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing.
• Social Media Platforms: Only the content you explicitly choose to publish, using OAuth tokens you authorize.
• AI Service Providers: Text prompts and configuration data sent to AI APIs for video generation. No personal data is shared beyond what is necessary for content creation.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos are stored for 90 days after creation unless you delete them sooner. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by:

• Emailing privacy@postpilot.video
• Using the account deletion option in your account settings.
• For Facebook users: We support Facebook's data deletion request protocol. When you remove PostPilot from your Facebook settings, we automatically receive and process the deletion request.

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation when your data has been removed.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and encrypted OAuth token storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.

9. Children's Privacy

PostPilot is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification.
